Introduction Post

Hello, this post is going to be an introduction to my degree. In addition, I will talk about the university I am currently studying at and more.

The reason why I chose DMU is because of the diversity in both majors and people. Also, I have heard lots of positive things about this university. DMU has helped me enjoy my major more since I had no computing background. All the computing tutors are helpful and understanding to everyone. My course title at DMU is Cyber Security BSc (Hons). Next, I will be discussing the mandatory modules for Cyber Security.

You can get your Cyber Security degree after three years of studying. In the first year, there are four modules. These modules are Foundation of Computing and Cyber Security, Endpoint Security, Secure Coding, and Business Infrastructure and Security.

In the second year, the modules will include Secure Scripting and Business Applications, Incident Response and Cyber Threat Intelligence, Penetration Testing, and Industrial Cryptography.

For the third year, the expected modules are Malware and Attacker Techniques, Cyber-Physical Systems Security, and the Final Project. 

The optional modules are Cyber Security and Social Responsibility, Artificial Intelligence for Cyber Security, and Digital Forensics and Cyber Crime Investigation.

The modules that have piqued my interest are Secure Coding and Digital Forensics and Cyber Crime Investigation. After I am done with my course, I will return to my country and start applying for jobs. I am also considering starting my own business. I believe that DMU can help me with learning more about my course. Also, they can assist us by making seminars with successful and famous figures in this industry. In the next ten years, I hope to see myself with a successful business. I would also like to see myself involved with many projects.
